It is about a boy named Tiger who dreams of becoming a great war hero but soon finds himself conscripted into an army suffering defeat after defeat and suffering from distrust among its members. However, he soon finds an ally in the form of another young man named Kallu. They set out to prove their worth to their countrymen while also struggling to understand their own feelings towards one another. Madhura Sangama is a fantasy novel written by madhubabu and published in 2008. The protagonist, Rekha, is a girl who has been locked away in her home for twelve years after being cursed by her own mother with an uncontrollable body odor problem. When she finally escapes her home, she sets off on a quest to find herbs capable of curing this condition while attempting to avoid the immanent dangers that lurk along the way. This is the first novel written by madhubabu that was published after his divorce from Preeti. The story, set in 19th century India, follows the life of a young girl named Durga who has been abandoned by her mother, Surya. The story alternates between two time periods: Durga's childhood and during her adolescence as she sets off to find her mother. Madhubabu followed up the very successful "Tiger's Eye" with this dark fantasy novel about teen-aged girls in New Jersey. It tells the story of three teenagers named Reena, Shanti and Maria who discover that they're all tied to an ancient Hindu demon called "Samhara". As they learn about Samhara's existence, Shanti and Reena escape together to a distant island where she tells them the story of Durga who is tasked by "Shiva" to save the world from Samhara. The two other girls also travel with her but, as they try to overcome their wounds from their pasts, they realize that Samhara may have been created by a force even greater than Shiva...MADHUBABU & THE WANDERERS After the success of "Tiger's Eye", madhubabu began thinking about a sequel. He said: "I had this story sitting in my head. It was about an army that loses the first major war it participates in. After that, I just thought what if that army were made up of school children? That's how I got the idea for "The Wanderers"." He began writing this book during his stay in New Jersey. However, he made a lot of revisions to it after reading the famous novel "A Separate Peace". The title novel was published in 2009 and is similar to his earlier books set in India: the story alternates between two time periods and shows how they're intertwined. After three Indian novels, madhubabu decided to try writing a novel based on his life experiences as an Indian-American. cfa1e77820
